On-Going/Regular Schedule Opportunities:

Lunch Assistance: Help prepare or serve meals or socialize with guests attending the meal program.  Locations/times/days vary but may not be immediately available.
Activity Registrar:
Greet attendees and take attendance at agency sponsored programs; or, provide assistance at programs such as Bingo. Is there a speciality to have, such as teaching art or music? We can explore classes that you can lead! Locations/times/days vary but may not be immediately available.

Trash Can Assistance: Help a resident take out and bring in trash cans.

Special Event and Fundraising Assistance:  Do you have a flair for soliciting for donations, managing a donor database, events and event planning? Then we need you! Opportunities can take place weekly, on an as-needed basis or on a more heavy basis (such as a committee).

Newsletter Editing/Canva:  Are you experienced in Canva? Create program/event flyers or help edit our monthly newsletter.

Data Entry:  "Tech savvy" doesn't always mean teaching. We have a variety of data entry needs in our office; some may even be available on a remote/work from home basis.

Technology Class Facilitator:  Tech savvy volunteers are needed for facilitating classes for older adults.

Seasonal:

Yard Work: Help with landscaping, raking leaves, trimming. No mowing.

Snow Remover: Clear walkways leading to house or garage (no driveways).

Per Diem/As-Needed:

Errand Runner: Shop for, drop-off, or pick up items for a resident.
Handy Person:
Complete minor interior and exterior repairs.

Tech Coach:  Meet one-on-one at one of our community centers to coach an older adult on technology/smart phones/tablets/computers.

*In some cases, volunteers must undergo a background check.

Work or fun? Both! Cub Scouts from Pack 424 take a break from their annual leaf raking service project for CPA.
