Volunteerism
CPA welcomes your future volunteerism. Our agency seeks both individuals and groups to execute meaningful tasks to meet our mission.
In order to help staff make the best match possible, complete the Interest Form below; or, if you're ready to dive in, click the button at the bottom of this page to complete the full Volunteer Application.
Volunteer Roles Include:
On-Going/Regular Schedule Opportunities:
Office Assistance:
Help with front desk reception, copy work, filing, letter writing, answering phones and general intake and everything in between!
Friendly Visitor: Socialize with an older adult in their home, public place or on the phone (limited opportunities available/based on need).
Special Event and Fundraising Assistance: Do you have a flair for soliciting for donations, managing a donor database, events and event planning? Then we need you! Opportunities can take place weekly, on an as-needed basis or on a more heavy basis (such as a committee).
Canva: Are you experienced in Canva? Create program/event flyers or help edit our monthly newsletter.
Data Entry: "Tech savvy" doesn't always mean teaching. We have a variety of data entry needs in our office; some may even be available on a remote/work from home basis.
Technology Class Facilitator: Tech savvy volunteers are needed for facilitating classes for older adults.
Per Diem/As-Needed:
Errand Runner: Shop for, drop-off, or pick up items for a resident (limited opportunities available/based on need)
Handy Person: Complete minor interior and exterior repairs.
Tech Coach:
Meet one-on-one at one of our community centers to coach an older adult on technology/smart phones/tablets/computers.
*In some cases, volunteers must undergo a background check.

Work or fun? Both! Cub Scouts from Pack 424 take a break from their annual leaf raking service project for CPA.
