Represent Community Partnership on Aging in The Inaugural Northeast Ohio Mind Challenge for the New Majority

Here’s How It Works!

Local Municipalities and Senior Centers will each seat a team to compete against other cities in the Northeast Ohio region.  The winning center will receive $2,500 prize money and each of the team members will receive a prize as well, courtesy of Hard Rock Rocksino.  2nd through 4th place winners will also win cash prizes for their centers.

All participants, regardless of team placement, will receive a T-Shirt and the opportunity to attend the Mind Challenge Championship Event in May 2019

The first local competition will be held in January 2019 to seat a team to represent CPA.
These tryouts will be hosted by the Get Lucky Trivia Company. There are two dates available
to try out:

  • Friday, January 11 – 1:00 p.m. at Highland Heights Community Center    OR
    Wednesday, January 16 – 10:00 a.m. at DeJohn Community Center in Mayfield Heights

The team will include the top 4 scorers and 2 alternates.

There is NO Registration or Participation Fee

Play off competition against other senior centers are as follows

         The Smart Sixteen—held the week of February 4

         The Elevated Eights –held the week of March 4

         The Fact Finding Four-held the week of April 1

         The Mind Challenge Championship-held May 6 at Solon Community Center

The Mind Challenge is sponsored by SCORE Communications, a local marketing firm.
