In March 2015 CPA formally joined together with the Fire Department / EMD Staff from each of our five communities to form the Home Safety Collaborative!

With the goals of reducing falls and increasing home safety awareness by older adults in our communities, first responders to homes of older adults at risk can refer residents to the Safe at Home Program, and CPA staff can connect residents to the fire departments for home safety questions and referrals, including installation of lock boxes and home safety inspections.

The Home Safety Collaborative brochure will be available from any first responder when on an EMS call, at any CPA community center or from any CPA social worker. You can also access the brochure here.
