From April 24th through May 1st several different events and activities are planned in honor of the diverse cultures that make up our World.

The April Café Lunch will take place on Thursday, April 24th at the South Euclid Community Center and will feature small plates from Japan, Zimbabwe and Germany.

Celebrate Diversity with CPA by joining us for the Café Lunch!

African Peanut Soup – A savory tomato based soup with rice and flavors of peanut. Soup is garnished with chopped peanuts and scallions.

Salad with Wafu Dressing – Romaine and iceberg lettuces topped with cucumbers and radishes. A traditional Japanese dressing with flavors of soy and sesame seeds will top the salad.

Beef Bobotie – A meatloaf dish from Zimbabwe with sweet and sour flavorings. The ground beef dish contains traditional African spices, including turmeric and curry as well as apricot and raisins.

Sauerkraut Potato Bake – A German side dish made with potatoes, sauerkraut, caraway, cheese, sour cream and butter.

Matcha Mochi Cake – A Japanese “pound cake” flavored with matcha, a green tea powder.

Marmorkuchen – A German marble cake with swirls of almond cake and chocolate cake.

Reservations for Café Lunch are required by calling (216) 650-4029 no later than Wednesday, April 16th at 3:00 PM. Fee: $3.00 per person.
